The Buzz: Back when the Internet was slower and we all had 3-disc-at-a-time Netflix subscriptions, "Veronica Mars" was one of the best low-rated TV shows around and its creator Rob Thomas was filling that void created after "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" ended its run. Almost a decade later, unprecedented Kickstarter action brought the long-rumored movie version to life and gave the whole crowd-funding discussion group something to talk about aside from Zach Braff or Amanda Palmer.
